Barford Golf Society

Barford Golf Society was founded over 11 years ago in the Warwickshire village of Barford by a group of local friends who shared a simple idea: to enjoy great golf in a relaxed, friendly and social environment.

Since then, the Society has grown into a welcoming community of over 30 members, made up of men and women of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a regular golfer or someone who simply enjoys getting out on the course, you’ll find a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone is made to feel at home.

We play on the last Friday of each month from March through to October, visiting eight different courses across Warwickshire and occasionally venturing into the beautiful Cotswolds. After the golf, it’s tradition to relax together over a drink or two at The Granville Arms.

We don’t take things too seriously. Our priority is enjoyment, good company and a bit of healthy exercise. There’s friendly competition for those who want it, but above all we play for the love of the game.

Membership is simple and affordable. We charge a small annual fee, and each golf day typically costs around £40, which includes 18 holes of golf plus coffee and bacon rolls beforehand.
